Floating bioloading

KAR-SIB floating bioloading acts as a carrier material for microorganisms in biological water treatment, when the reduction of organic carbon in municipal wastewater is required, or the biological decomposition of special ingredients in industrial wastewater, nitrification or denitrification.

Bioloading is used in biofilters when breeding fish. Bioloading has become especially widespread in closed water supply (SWS) installations as a filler for a biofilter.

Modern fish farming consists of fish ponds and a water purification system. Water circulates between the pools and the water purification system (in a closed circuit). In the course of water purification, impurities are removed, the water is disinfected and saturated with oxygen. Thus, once the water enters the system, it is used repeatedly with minimal losses.
