Tubes made of polyvinyl chloride, designed for non-pressure (up to 2-3 atm) transportation of water, alcohol, milk, gases, light chemicals in various fields of economy.
A smooth wall, non-toxicity, lack of smell and no effect on taste allow the tube to be used in the food industry. Absolute transparency of the tubes allows for visual control of liquids, and flexibility and elasticity – ease of working with fittings.
PVC pipes are a good dielectric, protecting electrical wires from mechanical damage. Polyvinyl chloride is resistant to the effects of atmospheric phenomena and ultraviolet radiation. Operating temperature range from -15…+55°C.
Polyvinyl chloride tubes are also used for laying electric, telephone and television wires and cables. They provide additional protection of the cable against mechanical damage, protection against electric shock when the cable insulation is damaged. The tube is made of non-flammable PVC light and heavy series. The heavy type pipe is characterized by additional strength (wall thickness) and is intended for installation in a cement screed or for pouring into concrete.
